As Dispatch Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our daily operations—overseeing the scheduling of technicians, optimizing routes, and ensuring every customer receives timely, professional service. You’ll lead a small dispatch team, collaborate closely with service managers, and use modern dispatch software to keep the day running smoothly.
Coordinate & dispatch HVAC, plumbing, and electrical technicians to residential jobs, balancing efficiency with customer satisfaction.
Manage the schedule—adjust on the fly when emergencies arise, track job progress, and communicate updates to customers.
Lead the team—train, mentor, and motivate 3–5 dispatchers; set clear goals and hold regular performance check-ins.
Optimize routes using GPS and dispatch software to minimize drive time and overtime costs.
Partner with service managers to forecast workload, assign the right techs, and ensure parts & equipment are ready before arrival.
Monitor KPIs such as on-time arrival, first-time fix rate, and call response times; generate weekly reports and recommend improvements.
Champion customer care—handle escalations with empathy and professionalism, reinforcing our reputation for dependable service.
3+ years in dispatch, scheduling, or logistics (home-service industry a plus).
Proven leadership experience—formal or informal.
Strong working knowledge of dispatch or field-service software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.).
Calm, problem-solving mindset when priorities shift.
Excellent verbal & written communication; you keep both customers and technicians in the loop.
Ability to pass background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
